Word from the Mouth: Preseason Thoughts and Week 1 Predictions (Div 2)

Welcome back to another fun filled article from the best looking Ref and player this league has ever seen. So now that Preseason is out of the way it time to move onto bigger and better things, the regular season. This when teams really start to play and where I can start stating the obvious. I hope you guys are ready for me to finally speak the truth. The goal for every team in this division should be to beat Jon and the Iron wolfs but not just beat them but to humiliate Jon. I want guys getting picks 6s all day long and holding it up while Jon struggles to chase you down. I want a video of that happening, No we can't do that Jon will start changing rules during the games then. LOL. Now let's move on to what happened during the preseason games which I saw.

Raccoons vs Old School

This game from the first play I thought was going to be a long one. Dahic throws a pick 6 on his very first attempt, in my head I'm like I hope it's not going to be like this all game. Maixme made a great jump on a ball that hung up going into the wind and had enough speed to out run Dahic to the end zone. He did come back and redeem himself a few plays later with a nice 45 yard td to Adam. It was a tough day for QB Sebastien Landry between the 5 picks he threw or get roughed up a few times by Old school rusher Matthieu who was rushing for the first time. Sebastien keep at it Old school is a good team, when it is windy short and sweet let the receivers do all the work for you with YAC. Matthieu watch that arm of the QB but it takes time and with the effort you put out every play and the hard work you'll get the hang of rushing. It was a good effort from both teams, remember it's not how you start the season its how you end it.

Gros Gars vs Iron Wolves

This game was a closer game then what I expected it to be. After watching Gros Gars warm up I thought Jon and the Iron Wolves were just going to have their way with the newbies. Boy was I pleasantly surprised. Yes the Wolves were missing player but this was a new team and Jon has more experience than the entire other team put together. Andre had a field day going off for 114 yards on 9 catches with 2 TDs. Jon did what he normally does and slows the game down and methodically works his way down the field and wears the defense down. Charles was able to pick off one of Jons passes and was able to take it to the house for 6 points. I will say this that by week 3 or 4 Gros Gars will become one of the more dominate teams in division 2. Gros Gars didn't help out Jean Sebastian with the amount of drops that the team had as a whole, once they get that under control they will be fine. Next time these two teams meet I think it will be a way different game Iron Wolves should have their full team and I'm sure by then that Gros Gars will have figured it out. The Mouth's Game to Watch: Old School vs Nice TDs

This will be the most exciting game this week is division 2. You have Nice TDs who want to get back to the finals like they did last fall but this time want to walk away with the title. Old school is looking to start off the season off with a win against a very strong team. This game will have a few things that can and might turn the tide one way or another. Is Matthieu going to be able to keep Kris Hope from running wild all day? Will Kris be able to place the ball where only his team can get it? Old School flies around every ball that is in the air so Nice TDs will need to attack that ball and not bobble it up where Old School can take it away. Will Greg be able to get after Dahic fast enough so he can't find the few weak spots in their defense? This game will come down to who makes the d=fewest mistakes and can stay calm if something goes wrong. I hope you guys make it interesting so that people want to come early to see how it is going. Have a great game guys and try to remember it's a game that we are playing for fun.

I hope everyone who has spent the time reading this has enjoyed it, if not too bad. This is week one only 12 more weeks until we see if anyone can unseat the Iron Wolves as champs.
