About Us
FlagElite League is Charlotte's competitive adult 7-on-7 flag football league: screen, non-contact football, played on Saturdays at Mint Hill Veterans Memorial Park in Mint Hill.
The league launched in the fall of 2025 and played its first games that November. It has run three seasons since — Winter 2025-26, Spring 2026 and the current Summer 2026 season — and operates four to five seasons a year, with ten teams competing in the 7v7 division this summer.
How we play
- 7-on-7 screen football, non-contact, players 18 and over
- Two 20-minute halves, a 25-second play clock and two 30-second timeouts per half; no kickoffs, no field goals
- Touchdown 6 points; extra point 1 from the 5 (pass only), 2 from the 10, or 3 from the 20; safety 2
- Rosters of 5 to 14 players; the top seven teams make a single-elimination playoff with a first-round bye for the No. 1 seed
